What are Functional Vision Problems?

Vision Is More Than 20/20

Functional Vision, also called Binocular Vision, involves how we use both eyes together in a coordinated manner to read, track moving objects, focus from near to far, and perceive depth. A properly-functioning vision system also contributes to our balance, spatial organization, and sense of self-awareness. Any vision condition that disrupts how both eyes are used in unison can be classified as a Functional Vision Problem.
